ERIC WAUGH
Eric Waugh was an artist with great energy and vitality, constantly moving forward. Before a group of paintings were finished he had already planned the next series of compositions, often in a new medium and artistic direction. He pursued his individual creative path at an early age from the late 1940's and his paintings form a valued part of many public and private collections around the world. A recently published book about his lifetime's work, 'A Colourful Life', is the first full survey of his work from student days through to his latest paintings. The book includes key major paintings as well as a huge archive of sketches, drawings, prints and sketchbooks from throughout his career. Over 200 works of art have ben retained by the Waugh family, some of which are periodically released for sale.
