Basia describes her work as weird and is not fully aware of where the characters and storytelling comes from, “don’t ask me what they are about, they all have a little of me in them but that’s as far as I can explain, they just happen”.  Regarding the painting style, she comments, “it has evolved from researching many of the greats, from renaissance to modern, but the narrative is from somewhere deep within me.”
